Working with an ambitious land owner we’re developing a planning application for this housing development on the edge of Newton Abbot.
The brief was to create a legacy development of contemporary, low energy, homes that will stand alone in the housing market.
With the land falling away to the east, offering far reaching views to the moor, the project offered the opportunity to develop inverted and split level homes working with the terrain and opening up the interior spaces to the space and views beyond.
Ortus was appointed to lead the development team co-coordinating highways, drainage, planning, ecology to progress a cohesive proposal to a planning application.
